Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HoSE: VJC) has reported robust third-quarter 2025 results, achieving 97 per cent of its annual plan and maintaining steady growth momentum despite global aviation challenges.

In the third quarter, Vietjet’s air transport revenue reached more than VNĐ16.72 trillion (US$636 million), with a pre-tax profit of VNĐ393 billion ($14.9 million).

For the first nine months of 2025, the airline recorded air transport revenue exceeding VNĐ52.32 trillion and a pre-tax profit of VNĐ1.98 trillion, a 28 per cent year-on-year increase. Consolidated revenue surpassed VNĐ52.76 trillion, with profit rising above VNĐ2 trillion, up 17 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Vietjet said its ancillary revenue – including services such as baggage, meals and in-flight sales – grew by 19 per cent year-on-year to VNĐ6.89 trillion, accounting for 41 per cent of total air revenue.

As of September 30, Vietjet operated 219 domestic and international routes and carried 21.5 million passengers. The airline reported a load factor of 86 per cent and technical reliability of 99.72 per cent, placing it among the highest in the region.

Vietjet’s Board of Directors has approved a 20 per cent stock dividend, issuing more than 118.3 million shares with a total nominal value exceeding VNĐ1.18 trillion. The company said the decision reflects its strong financial health and commitment to delivering long-term value for shareholders.

With favourable market conditions, lower fuel prices and continued investment in technology and financial capacity, Vietjet said it expects to sustain strong growth into 2026.
