The 2025 Vietnamese Goods Week in Hà Nội officially opened on November 5 to support businesses, promote total retail sales and balance supply and demand in the capital.

The event was organised by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade (HDIT) in coordination with the People's Committee of Kiến Hưng Ward.

With a scale of 90 booths, the event attracted nearly 80 enterprises from Hà Nội and the provinces of Quảng Ninh, Thái Nguyên, Quảng Ngãi, HCM City, Hà Giang, Sơn La, Phú Thọ, Tuyên Quang, Hải Phòng, Thanh Hoá and Lào Cai to display and sell consumer goods, industrial products, and agricultural, forestry and fishery items.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of HDIT’s Centre for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consultancy Hoàng Minh Lâm said Vietnamese Goods Week is a practical activity of the Hà Nội Department of Industry and Trade, aiming to remove difficulties, support businesses, restore and develop the socio-economy, while promoting retail sales growth and balancing supply and demand in the capital.

The event also offers businesses the chance to promote brands, introduce products, understand consumer needs and tastes, support cooperatives in product consumption, stimulate spending and increase total retail sales. It contributes to the Government’s campaign calling on Vietnamese people to prioritise Vietnamese goods.

Visitors can directly experience products that meet quality and origin standards, receive guidance on identifying genuine goods and connect with producers.

Director of Đắk Lắk Durian Cooperative in Đắk Lắk Province Nguyễn Hồng Nam said the event has created an opportunity for farmers in the province to promote durian products to consumers.

The event will run until November 9 in Kiến Hưng Ward, Hà Đông District.
