CPV Food Bình Phước marks 10,000-tonne chicken export to Japan

CPV Food Bình Phước has reached an export milestone by shipping its 10,000th tonne of processed chicken to Japan since starting shipments in 2022, it announced at a ceremony in Đồng Nai on October 22.

C.P. Vietnam CEO Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit told the ceremony: “This achievement demonstrates how CPV Food Bình Phước, designed as a fully integrated model with international standards at its core, can reliably serve one of the world’s most demanding markets.

“It reflects the results of our long-term investment in technology and standardised processes, laying the foundation for further improvements in production standards and strengthening our competitiveness in processed poultry exports.”

Japanese Consul General in HCM City Masuo Ono commended the strong partnership between C.P. Vietnam and Japanese businesses.

“Through the production of high-quality, hygienic chicken meat, I hope C.P. Vietnam will continue to meet domestic and international demand, contribute to food security, promote Việt Nam’s economic growth, and strengthen relations between Việt Nam, Japan and other countries.”

Nguyễn Thị Hoàng, vice chairwoman of the Đồng Nai People’s Committee, commended CPV Food’s achievements and local contribution and expressed the hope it would expand production, strengthen partnerships with poultry farms to build a complete supply chain, uphold food safety, environmental protection, green growth, and animal welfare and reduce emissions.

Đào Nguyễn Ngọc Châu, market research and administrative assistant at the Vietnamese representative office of Ito-Yokado Co., Ltd., which has some 300 supermarkets in Japan, said the retailer prioritises products with clear origins, hygiene and quality, currently imports five containers of CPV products from Việt Nam annually, and plans to expand shipments and product lines.

“As daily life in Japan grows busier, consumers prefer convenient, easy-to-prepare meals. We focus on convenience while always putting food safety first.”

CPV meets the company’s strict quality standards and is viewed as a promising long-term partner.

Established in 2020, CPV Food Bình Phước is one of Southeast Asia’s most advanced poultry production companies.

Operating under a closed-loop value chain from farm to table, the facility has an annual capacity of 52 million broilers and 19,200 tonnes of processed chicken.

CPV Food also exports to Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, and Mongolia.
