In its new development phase, Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation (CADIVI) will focus on three strategic pillars: developing greener products, modernising operations and expanding international markets, according to company leaders.

The company has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable growth by investing in the research and production of safer, more eco-friendly products that meet international standards for environmental protection and consumer safety. CADIVI also aims to contribute to the Government’s Net Zero target by 2050.

At the company’s 50th anniversary celebration in HCM City this week, Lê Bá Thọ, CADIVI’s chairman, said the firm would continue to pursue its “Green – Digital – Global” strategy.

“We will keep investing in technology, people and sustainable practices, with the goal of making CADIVI the leading electrical cable manufacturer in Southeast Asia, while contributing to a greener future for Việt Nam and the world,” he said.

The company is accelerating digital transformation and automation to boost productivity and competitiveness. It is deploying ERP systems, data analytics, and digital management tools to optimise its supply chain and enhance efficiency.

It is also stepping up efforts to expand its international footprint through exports, OEM cooperation, technology partnerships and new distribution networks across Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East, he added.

Hồ Quang Nhân, CADIVI’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Over the past 50 years, CADIVI has evolved from humble beginnings into the leading brand in Việt Nam’s electric wire and cable industry.”

Beyond the domestic market, its products are now available in more than 14 countries, including demanding markets such as the US, Australia, South Korea, and Japan thanks to its compliance with rigorous international technical standards.

The company has also secured trademark protection in eight countries, Nhân added.
