ShopeeFood is the online food ordering platform with the highest number of orders within a seven-day period, accounting for 56 per cent of total orders, according to a survey conducted by NielsenIQ from April 9 to April 28 this year.

In addition, an independent survey by Decision Lab also identified ShopeeFood as the food delivery app with the highest market share, 49 per cent, based on responses from 972 users who placed food/drink orders through an app within two days prior to the survey. The research was conducted across Hà Nội, HCM City and Đà Nẵng.

Beyond market share statistics, ShopeeFood’s brand awareness is also clearly confirmed. According to NielsenIQ's survey, ShopeeFood was the most top-of-mind platform for users, with 50 per cent of 800 respondents who had ordered food online during the survey period, recognising it first when asked about food delivery platforms.

ShopeeFood’s position has been further solidified in key markets, especially in Hà Nội, where it has become the most widely used online food ordering platform. Among different age groups, users aged 16–24 are the most active on the app.

Milk tea and fast food top the list of most-ordered items, followed by rice meals, snacks, juices, desserts and noodles. This trend highlights consumer preference for convenience and speed, reinforcing the idea that ShopeeFood is effectively addressing the core demands of the current market.
