The upcoming Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 2 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in HCM City, promises to be a pivotal event for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Following 22 successful editions, this year's expo is set to gather 450 enterprises from 23 countries, showcasing their innovations across 500 booths.

At the Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2025, attendees will experience a diverse range of products, including home healthcare devices such as blood pressure monitors and smart wearable technology. Additionally, advanced medical technologies, including AI-powered solutions and diagnostic imaging systems, will be showcased, highlighting the integration of innovation in healthcare.

The expo serves as a vital platform for Vietnamese healthcare companies to connect with international distributors and explore potential collaborations. Notable participants include leading corporations from Austria, the EU, the US and various Asian nations, emphasising the event's global reach.

The India Pavilion will feature small and medium-sized enterprises in the pharmaceutical sector, while the Korea Pavilion will present medical tourism services and healthcare equipment. Malaysia will highlight its strengths in medical gloves and single-use instruments.

With an expected attendance of 12,000 professionals, including doctors, distributors and manufacturers, the Vietnam Medipharm Expo 2025 is not only an exhibition but also a strategic opportunity for businesses to strengthen their brand presence and expand their networks.

Việt Nam's healthcare landscape is experiencing significant growth, fuelled by an increasing population that has surpassed 100 million and rising healthcare spending, which has surged 8.7 times over the past three decades.

With per capita GDP projected to reach approximately US$4,900 in 2025, the demand for healthcare services and products has never been more pronounced.

According to IQVIA, the country's pharmaceutical sector is one of the fastest-growing globally, with a compound annual growth rate expected between 6 per cent and 8 per cent from 2023 to 2028.

The market is anticipated to reach $10 billion by 2026, establishing Việt Nam as Southeast Asia's second-largest pharmaceutical market, trailing only Indonesia.
