Global Vietnam Business Startup 2025 winners announced

GVB Startup 2025 attracted the participation of nearly 150 individuals and organisations from across Việt Nam. The event seeks to promote bold and ambitious startup ideas and projects, contributing to the future of global innovation, and supporting startups through the provision of resources, networking opportunities, and market insights.

A project to produce insulation material from straw, which offers a green alternative to natural wood, by the Straw Wood team won the first prize of the Global Vietnam Business (GVB) Startup 2025 whose awarding ceremony was held in London, the UK, on June 15.

The organising committee also awarded the second prize to the Futuristic Microalgae team for their project using microalgae to treat wastewater from aquatic product processing plants. The solution helps protect the environment while generating economic value through biofuel, fertiliser, and animal feed.

Meanhwhile, the third prize went to the UCTalent team, which develops a talent showcase platform on the blockchain, with an aim to transform recruitment in the Web3 space, enabling talents to grow safely and efficiently in a decentralised world.

GVB Startup 2025 attracted the participation of nearly 150 individuals and organisations from across Việt Nam. The event seeks to promote bold and ambitious startup ideas and projects, contributing to the future of global innovation, and supporting startups through the provision of resources, networking opportunities, and market insights.

As part of the GVB Startup 2025 event, the organising committee also honoured individuals with outstanding business achievements who have become an inspiration for the entrepreneurial spirit of the Vietnamese community in the UK, as well as organisations that have made significant contributions to the development of the Vietnamese community in the UK and to the competition itself.
