100 voco brand hotels open in seven years, three in Việt Nam

IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality company, recently shared the milestone achievement of opening 100 hotels under the voco brand in just seven years.

IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality company, recently shared the milestone achievement of opening 100 hotels under the voco brand in just seven years. 

Launched in 2018 voco is known for offering distinctive and thoughtful guest experiences, establishing itself as the fastest-growing brand in IHG's Premium collection.

Voco saw record development activity in 2024, with properties in over 25 countries, including Việt Nam, and plans further expansion in Thailand, Malaysia and Aruba in the next two years.

In Việt Nam, three voco-branded hotels have been opened. 

Vivek Bhalla, managing director, South East Asia & Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts said: “The brand’s fast expansion to 100 hotels in less than seven years is a fantastic achievement. In South East Asia & South Korea, our first voco hotel opened on Singapore’s prime shopping district Orchard Road in 2022, and since then has grown to six open hotels including voco Orchard Singapore, voco Seoul Gangnam, voco Seoul Myeongdong, voco Bali Seminyak, voco Ma Belle Danang - By IHG, and voco Quang Binh Resort - By IHG, and eight [more are] in the pipeline.

“We want to create brands that our guests and owners love, and as a premium hotel brand, voco is not only achieving consistently high guest satisfaction scores, but is also perfectly placed to capture conversion opportunities enabling our owners to benefit from fast access to IHG’s global scale and enterprise platform.”  

The recently opened voco Quang Binh Resort - by IHG is the world's first voco resort and is located on Bảo Ninh Beach in Đồng Hới City, Quảng Bình Province. Featuring 68 Indochine-inspired suites and beachfront villas, along with a spa offering 17 treatment rooms, the resort provides a serene and personalised escape.

The upcoming voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang – By IHG will be a stunning addition to the coastal city of Nha Trang upon its completion later this year.
