Vinachem to launch e-commerce platform and national consumer goods brand

The event forms part of a series of activities to commemorate the 135th birthday of President Hồ Chí Minh and kickstart Vinachem’s green transformation and digitalisation campaign within the chemical sector.

The Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) will officially launch its e-commerce platform VinachemMart and unveil a suite of branded consumer goods on May 10 at the Hoàn Kiếm walking street in Hà Nội.

The event forms part of a series of activities to commemorate the 135th birthday of President Hồ Chí Minh and kickstart Vinachem’s green transformation and digitalisation campaign within the chemical sector.

The Vinachem-branded consumer goods collection brings together eight long-standing Vietnamese brands that have been familiar to local consumers for nearly 70 years. These include member companies of Vinachem such as Đà Nẵng Rubber (DRC), Southern Rubber Industry (CASUMINA), Sao Vàng Rubber (SRC), PINACO, LIX, HASO, CFC and the Vietnam Institute of Industrial Chemistry (VIIC).

The product suite comprises three main categories. The first includes household chemicals such as laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and floor cleaner, all manufactured using modern technology to ensure safety and environmental friendliness.

The second focuses on batteries and accumulators with well-known brands such as Con Ó and Đồng Nai. The third is rubber tyres and tubes, offering high-quality products for bicycles, motorbikes and cars to promote road safety.

These products will be distributed via VinachemMart — an e-commerce platform developed by Vinachem with technical backing from the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The platform not only provides consumers with convenient access to high-quality, genuine products directly from manufacturers, but also aims to encourage public support for Vietnamese goods and bolster domestic production.

According to a Vinachem representative, the launch of VinachemMart is a concrete step in the group’s digital transformation strategy and a meaningful response to the national campaign 'Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese products'.

In addition to the launch ceremony, Vinachem will host a series of accompanying activities, including the ribbon-cutting of the photo exhibition 'Vinachem – Journey towards a greener chemical industry', a product display area showcasing the full range of Vinachem consumer goods, and an exhibition titled 'President Hồ Chí Minh and the chemical industry – Memories and faith'.
