Central Retail Vietnam has launched an event series titled 'Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products 2025' to celebrate 50 years of glory (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

Running until May 7, the events are taking place across the group’s GO!, Big C and Tops Market supermarkets nationwide, showcasing high-quality Vietnamese agricultural products such as fruit, vegetables and processed foods.

During the holiday, Central Retail's supermarkets are also offering major promotions, with discounts of up to 50 per cent on more than 1,000 items, including fresh food, beverages, fashion and regional specialties.

Special activities at GO! An Lạc, GO! Nguyễn Thị Thập (HCM City), and GO! Thăng Long (Hà Nội) include the 'Proud of Vietnamese Agricultural Products Week' and a unique food experience called 'Soldier's Meals', featuring traditional wartime dishes like brown rice with sesame salt, cassava rice and bamboo-grilled pork.

Customers can also join lively activities such as a vegetable mukbang contest and sample products from local farmers and cooperatives.

Central Retail Vietnam Communications Director Nguyễn Thị Bích Vân said the programme aims not only to boost consumption and promote Vietnamese goods, but also to honour the nation's pride and remarkable economic growth over the past 50 years, especially in agriculture.
