FPT places among top brands in Việt Nam

Việt Nam technology giant, FPT has recently achieved remarkable recognition, boasting a brand value of approximately US$1 billion and securing its place among the top brands in Vietnam. At the "100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2024" award ceremony, FPT was honored as one of the Top 5 strongest brands and among the Top 10 companies with the largest brand value increase, reflecting a 67% growth in brand value.

Alex Haigh, Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific, highlighted FPT’s improvement in the Brand Strength Index (BSI), reaching a score of 86.9 out of 100, ranking it among the top Vietnamese brands. This impressive growth is attributed to FPT's strong reputation, advanced technology applications, and significant global market presence.

The Brand Strength Index evaluates a brand's performance based on awareness, customer loyalty, and market share, derived from insights from over 100,000 individuals worldwide. In the technology sector, FPT stands out, competing with global giants like Apple, Microsoft, and Google.

FPT's financial performance is equally impressive, with a return on equity (ROE) consistently above 25 per cent over the past three years.

As of October 10, 2024, FPT's capitalisation reached $8.4 billion, with plans for revenue of VNĐ61.8 trillion and a pre-tax profit of VNĐ10.87 trillion in 2024, representing a projected growth of about 18 per cent.

The corporation is focused on key growth areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology, automotive software, digital transformation, and green technology. Looking ahead, FPT aims to achieve $5 billion in IT service revenue from foreign markets by 2030, solidifying its position as a leader in the global IT landscape while contributing to Việt Nam's economic and social development.
