CDC Construction (CCC) reports Q2 post-tax profits soaring nearly 15 times

CDC Construction Joint Stock Company (stock code: CCC) has announced its financial results for Q2 of the 2024 fiscal year (from 1 July to 30 September), showing substantial growth.

Net revenue reached nearly VNĐ432 billion, marking a 167 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The company's post-tax profit surged to over VNĐ9 billion, a remarkable increase of 1,458 per cent compared to the VNĐ600 million profit of the same period last year, translating to a nearly 15-fold increase.

For the first half of the 2024 fiscal year, the company reported net revenue of VNĐ972 billion and post-tax profit of VNĐ20 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 30 per cent and 59 per cent, respectively.

As of 30 September 2024, CDC Construction’s total assets amounted to VNĐ2.1 trillion, a 23 per cent increase from the start of the fiscal year (1 April 2024). Cash and cash equivalents stood at nearly VNĐ324 billion, making up 15 per cent of total assets, while short-term receivables increased by 48 per cent to VNĐ1.124 trillion, accounting for 53 per cent of total assets.

Total short-and long-term debt rose by 24.3 per cent to VNĐ454.13 billion, which represents 79.1 per cent of shareholders’ equity. The company’s charter capital reached nearly VNĐ403 billion, with retained earnings of more than VNĐ150 billion.

Established in 2011, CDC Construction, originally Hanoi Construction Design Supervision Consultancy JSC, specialises in residential construction.
