The Vietnam - Korea Businessmen and Investment Association (VKBIA) collaborated with the Ninh Thuan Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade and other relevant units to hold a business matching conference.
The event, featuring an exhibition showcasing various products of businesses in the south-central region, was aimed at connecting Vietnamese exporters and producers with South Korean investors.
Speaking at the conference, Trinh Minh Hoang, vice-chairman of the Ninh Thuan People’s Committee, highlighted the province’s year-round warm, sunny climate, which is ideal for cultivating a variety of signature agricultural products, including grapes, apples, garlic, green asparagus, and aloe vera. The region is also known for goat and sheep farming.
"This conference serves as a bridge between Vietnamese and South Korean companies, helping to enhance the consumption and export of goods through cooperative agreements," Hoang added.

VKBIA chairman Tran Hai Linh stressed that the potential and advantages of south-central provinces in general and Ninh Thuan Province in particular were expected to give more opportunities to South Korean businesses to expand export cooperation with local partners.
