RHB Bank deposit campaign surpasses $100 million target

Celebrating the $100 million target achieved in the Luxury Deposit Campaign, RHB Bank (Cambodia) PLC, a subsidiary of the RHB Bank based in Malaysia, hosted the grand ceremony on Friday aimed at awarding the grand prize of a luxury condominium, gold coins and insurance coverage certificates to local participants.

The Premier Victory Gala was organised to celebrate the Luxury Deposit Campaign’s remarkable achievement – surpassing a target of $100 million – which was presided over by Alex Lim Eng Kang, Chief Executive Officer of RHB Cambodia, held at the Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh on September 26.

Addressing the event, Lim said that the programme was designed for premier customers of RHB Cambodia and started in October 2023 until July this year. “In the last three quarters, we [RHB Cambodia] have gifted many prizes including gold coins and insurance certificates to the winners,” he said.

“Today, I would like to announce that we have achieved results that exceeded the goal of over $100 million, a testament that clients have placed trust and loyalty in RHB Cambodia. This achievement would not have been possible without their support.”

Kang emphasized that the event was designed to award the grand prizes: a unit of the luxury condominium developed by JS Land Plc, along with gold coins presented to the fortunate winners.

The RHB CEO extended heartfelt thanks to JS Land PLC for its generous prizes as well as valued customers and partners, whose trust and support were key to reaching this milestone.

“In light of this success, RHB Cambodia would like to announce a new campaign known as ‘Smart Saving with RHB’, offering exciting rewards such as Royal Enfield motorcycles, the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple Watch and Redmi Pad Pro, along with higher interest for participants,” he added.

He appreciated all clients for their support and contribution to this campaign, a major driving force behind the success of this project.

During the event, Kor Samnang, Head of Premier Banking of RHB Cambodia briefed about the ‘Smart Saving with RHB’, the new and exciting premier banking customers attached with minimum deposit growth.

“Clients who participated in this project will get special guarantee gifts with the highest interest rates and earn draw tickets to win the grand prize of gold,” he added.

Samnang pointed out the benefits and privileges of premier banking such as access to over 115 plaza premium lounges, high interest rates, premier card privileges discount with many high-end partners, international privileges in Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore, golf, fitness, and exclusive birthday privileges along with 30 percent cash back at supermarkets and marts.

According to RHB Cambodia, the bank was established on July 9, 2008 and currently has 12 branches operating in Phnom Penh and across provinces.

RHB banking group in Cambodia also offers investment banking services that cover the capital market and brokerage aims to complement the services of its commercial banking activities.
