SCC, SCVC and G-1% Club ink MoU to expand business partnership

The Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, also known as Singapore Club Cambodia (SCC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Cambodia Venture Club (SCVC) and the Global Entrepreneur 1% Club (G-1% Club) to enhance cooperation on mutual interests related to business opportunities.

 

The MoU was formalized by SCC President Andrew Tay, SCVC President Kevin Khoo, and G-1% Club President Vuthea Heang.

The MoU outlines plans for joint activities to foster business, social and professional networking, explore trade opportunities as well as facilitate cross-border investments between the member organizations.

The ceremony was graced by Ying Sarath, Secretary of State and Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia and Bernice Seow, Second Secretary (Political) from the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Phnom Penh. Their presence highlighted the importance of this partnership in strengthening bilateral business relations.

Among others who were present on the occasion include Sandeep Majumdar, President of InCham Cambodia, Alicia Lim, President of the Singapore Alumni Association of Cambodia and Wook Lee, Chairman of the W-Foundation, underscoring the broad support for this initiative.

As many as 100 guests, including more than a dozen Singaporean entrepreneurs, attended the event to explore potential investment opportunities in Cambodia. This gathering not only celebrated the MoU signing but also provided a platform for fostering new business connections and discussing future collaborations.

The MoU signifies a commitment to mutual growth and development, aiming to leverage the strengths of each organization to drive economic progress and enhance business opportunities across borders.
