VNDirect now has largest charter capital in securities market

After the issuance, about 60.9 million stock dividends were distributed to the shareholders, with a ratio of 5 per cent and fractional shares of around 2,800 will be cancelled.

Of 243.57 trillion shares offered to public, the securities firm distributed more than 234 million shares with a ratio of 20 per cent, equivalent to a successful offering rate of 96 per cent.

The remaining 9.5 million shares were sold to other investors with an issue price of VNĐ10,000 per share ($0.39), which is much lower than the market price of VNĐ15,900 a share as of the end of Wednesday's morning session.

Specifically, these shares have been distributed to five investors and none of them have any related persons at VNDirect. The transaction was completed on July 12.

Following the share offering, VNDirect raised a total of more than VNĐ2.4 trillion, increasing its charter capital to over VNĐ15.2 trillion. This has made VNDirect the securities company with the largest charter capital in the market, surpassing SSI Securities' VNĐ15 trillion.

VNDirect has only one major shareholder, IPA Investment Corporation, which owns 25.84 per cent of the charter capital. The remaining 74.16 per cent belongs to smaller shareholders, each owning less than five per cent.
