One innovation on show, the ROBITSI-Delta Picker. Developed with local original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Idea Tech, ROBITSI is a delta robot that can pick and place products from one running belt at great speed and with great efficiency.

This solution is set to revolutionise the way OEMs engineer their processes, optimise manufacturing and expedite market entry, according to Siemens.

“The industrial and manufacturing sector is the bedrock of Việt Nam’s economic prosperity. In recent years, this sector has emerged as a significant contributor to the nation’s GDP, accounting for an impressive 33-35 per cent in 2022," said head of Siemens Vietnam Digital Industries Trần Thế Hiển.

"The electronics, food, and beverage industries stand out in this landscape, with remarkable growth and potential. In this dynamic environment, Siemens has been a strong and unwavering supporter.”

He added that for the burgeoning electronics industry, Siemens brings to the table cutting-edge industrial software and technologies. These solutions are designed to enhance productivity and efficiency and expedite time-to-market, giving businesses a competitive edge.

The VIMF 2024, which is underway in the southern province of Bình Dương, is an international industrial exhibition that hosts and connects suppliers of machinery, parts, equipment, technology and process solutions with manufacturers in the automobile, electronics, machinery, textile, footwear and high-tech industries.
