How does Fatzbaby always lead e-commerce market in highly competitive mother & baby products market?
According to a report released by e-commerce data platform Metric, the market for mother and baby products will grow from the third quarter of 2023, with Fatzbaby being the market leader in mother & baby care support equipment across e-commerce channels in the 2022-23 period.
It was for a second consecutive year it was the top-selling brand in this product group on e-commerce platforms.
Top-selling brand on e-commerce platforms for 2 consecutive years
Research on the best-selling rankings based on the number of sales volume done on the “Support equipment for mothers and babies" product group found that e-commerce sites Shopee.vn, Lazada.vn, Tiki.vn, and Tiktok Shop Vietnam sold this product category from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023.
The support equipment for mothers and babies product line includes the following main product groups: milk warmers, sterilisers, breast pumps, water heaters, milk dispensers, breast milk machines, cry alarm, hygrometer, nebulizer, white noise machine, infrared thermometers, nasal aspirators, nail grinders, and baby bottle washers.
According to the report, in 2022 the Fatzbaby brand sold 24 per cent of goods, reaching 44 per cent of sales volume belong to the market share of the product group "Support equipment for mothers & babies." The two indicators show that Fatzbaby had the highest market share and ranking in this product group on e-commerce platforms.
On entering 2023 Fatzbaby continued to maintain its ranking as the best-selling brand in the product group. It accounted for 22 per cent of the market, and again ranked No. 1 in volume terms. In terms of revenues, Fatzbaby had a 42 per cent market share, and continued to lead the “support equipment for caring mothers & babies" product group.
Community activities - for the health of both mothers, babies
Fatzbaby not only leads in market share, but is also a brand that always promotes humanitarian activities for the development of the community. It has donated Fatzbaby maternity and child care products to more than 50 hospitals nationwide, including some famous ones such as Phuong Dong General Hospital, Thanh Nhan Hospital, Bac Thang Long Hospital, Military Hospital 175, Tu Du Hospital, Hung Vuong Hospital, and Children's hospitals No. 1, 2 and 3 in HCM City, helping share mothers’ hardships in the childbirth journey and assisting medical staff and midwives in caring for mothers and babies and providing breastfeeding guidance.
In 2024 Fatzbaby continues to focus on cooperation with hospitals to organise programmes and activities such as prenatal seminars at Phuong Dong General Hospital, podcasts on "Smart Nutrition - Health foundation for mothers and babies" - Care for pregnant women, mothers and babies after birth, and a series called "Chef named Mom.”
Participating in Phuong Dong Hospital’s prenatal classes is one of the activities under Fatz's community development projects and campaigns.
