During the conference, the leaders of the two farmers' associations agreed to strengthen cooperation in Hanoi's Gia Lam, Chuong My, Quoc Oai and Soc Son districts and those in Lai Chau's Muong Te, Sin Ho, Nam Nhun and Phong Tho districts in marketing agricultural products, handicrafts and OCOP goods from both sides.

The provincial and municipal farmers' associations will organize activities to exchange and learn from each other's experiences to support farmers. They will also coordinate the implementation of programs and linkages between the production and consumption of agricultural products and the construction of new rural areas.

Earlier, the delegation from the Lai Chau and Hanoi Farmers' Associations visited the Bat Trang pottery village and the flower and ornamental plant production model in Da Ton Commune, Gia Lam District.

To date, the Hanoi Farmers' Association has signed cooperation programs with farmers' associations from various provinces and cities across the country.

The association has also organized numerous promotional activities in recent years to showcase and promote products from the city and other provinces.
