These new vehicles will be priced from VND700 million (US$28,500) to over VND2 billion ($81,540).

The Volkswagen Teramont X, manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen, will be launched in the Southeast Asian nation on March 14.

Though the model has yet to debut in Vietnam, some local dealerships have already imported several Volkswagen Teramont X cars and handed them over to customers in early February.

Each Teramont X is priced from VND2.168 billion ($88,368).

The Teramont X is seen as the coupe version of the Teramont, but has five seats instead of seven like the latter.

The Teramont X set to be sold in Vietnam is equipped with 19-inch wheel discs, a 12-inch instrument display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, matrix LED headlights, a tri-zone automatic climate-control system, and a Harman Kardon audio system.

With its two-liter engine, the Teramont X can produce 220 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

The Suzuki Jimny, a four-wheel drive off-road mini sport utility vehicle manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki, will be officially launched in Vietnam in April.

Some dealerships announced its price at VND799 million ($32,570).

Like the Volkswagen Teramont X, the Jimny has yet to go on sale in Vietnam, but importers brought some to the country in 2023.

The Suzuki Jimny features LED projector headlights and each wheel of the car has a 15-inch disc brake. The one-tone-color version comes in white, silver, black, gray, pearl, and moss green.

The model is equipped with a seven-inch screen, Bluetooth connections, a satellite navigation system, and a single-zone automatic vehicle climate control system.

With its 1.5-liter engine, the Jimny can produce 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque.

The facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross, produced by Japanese automaker Toyota, will come to the Vietnamese market in April.

Some local dealers said that the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross features a 3D grille, a 12.3-inch instrument display, a touchscreen measuring 10.1 inches, an electric parking brake, wheel discs with new design, an upfront sensor, and upgraded adaptive cruise control.

The luxury Ford Everest Platinum, a mid-size SUV, produced by Ford Motor Company, an American multinational auto manufacturer, is expected to enter Vietnam to replace the Wildtrak model.

The Ford Everest Platinum, powered by the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine, had its price announced at VND1.7 billion ($69,300).

The Haval Jolion, a compact cross SUV produced by Chinese automobile maker Great Wall Motor, is scheduled to make its first appearance in Vietnam in August at a temporary price of VND700 million ($28,500).

The interior of the Haval Jolion is equipped with a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and a 7.0-inch instrument display. Other features include a six-speaker sound system, a six-way electric driver's seat with ventilation, dual-zone climate control, and an advanced driver-assistance system.

Certain dealerships said that the Haval Jolion will come to Vietnam in two versions, including the petrol-powered version and a hybrid model.
