AEON Vietnam strives to meet increasing demand of customers during Tết

AEON Vietnam is gearing up for the Lunar New Year with a wide range of products, increased inventory, price stabilisation and many attractive promotions to meet the demand and provide convenience for customers.

A representative of AEON Vietnam said that people's purchasing power began to increase gradually from the beginning of December. The retail company predicts that purchasing power will continue to increase rapidly after the 15th day of the 12th lunar calendar.

Since the beginning of October 2023, AEON Vietnam has proactively prepared a wide range of goods with stable prices, providing many choices for customers to shop.

It has also increased its reserves by about 10 per cent compared to the previous year. Goods are diversified, of many types, ensuring quality, food safety and stable prices.

In addition, during this year's Lunar New Year, AEON Vietnam also introduced a variety of AEON private label products produced in Việt Nam following AEON Japan standards with reasonable prices. Products such as nuts, dried fruits, diverse ingredients and ready-to-cook items of TOPVALU brand - AEON's private label, will bring customers countless conveniences in cooking and preparing meals, allowing people more time to spend with family and friends.

The company also enhanced and expanded services, increasing convenience for customers. Now customers can choose many AEON Vietnam shopping channels at all AEON department stores and supermarkets such as shopping by phone, on the AEON mobile app, and AEON EShop e-commerce channel.

At AEON, in addition to the Tết-specific items displayed in the most central and eye-catching locations to attract customers such as cakes, candies, jams, nuts, dried fruits, Tết gift baskets, AEON still ensures daily essential items such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, vegetables, and fresh produce.

AEON Vietnam representatives said that Tết this year is affected by many factors. To help people shop with peace of mind, the retailer has worked with suppliers to bring out high-quality products with stable prices. AEON Vietnam is also offering attractive promotional programs at all of its business locations nationwide, including department stores and supermarkets, MaxValu, Super Supermarket, and the AEON Eshop e-commerce channel.

To serve the peak shopping season, during the Tết holiday season, AEON will also extend its operating hours and open throughout Tết to serve customers who come to play and shop during the holiday days.

In particular, AEON Vietnam will launch the "Lucky Bag (Fukubukuro) - Warm Home Tết" programme from February 12 (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year) at AEON nationwide. Fukubukuro in Japanese means "bag of happiness", which refers to bags that bring good luck to the owner.

Buying a Fukubukuro bag on New Year's Day is a unique tradition in Japanese culture to welcome good luck for the New Year. Fukubukuro Lucky Bags often contain secret items with a value greater than the amount paid. With the "Lucky Bag - Warm Home Tết" programme, AEON Vietnam hopes to bring customers exciting cultural experiences and unexpected promotions during the Lunar New Year.
