LOTTE Group launches LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi

LOTTE Group Korea has announced the opening of LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi, a premium multifunctional complex nestled near the heart of the city, promising to deliver the most comprehensive shopping and entertainment experience ever seen in Vietnam.

LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi began its soft opening on July 28, welcoming visitors and shoppers to enjoy a variety of services before its grand opening on September 22.

Located at 272 Vo Chi Cong street, Tay Ho district in Hanoi, the mall spans a total area of 354,000 square metres, offering a multi-functional commercial complex comprising a shopping mall, a 5-star hotel, premium serviced apartments, and a Grade A office building.

The shopping mall is one of the largest in Vietnam and promises visitors an entirely new experience with the largest indoor aquarium in Vietnam, a grand supermarket, and a cinema with the highest quality facilities. Named after the renowned West Lake, LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi is expected to become a new iconic landmark in the city and a favourite destination for its residents and tourists.

The mall stands out and is among one of the more prominent projects near the centre of Hanoi, situated at the core of the city's new development axis with excellent connectivity. Located on Ring Road 2, the commercial complex sits at the gateway to the capital, providing easy access to other areas. It is only 15 minutes' drive from Hoan Kiem Lake, conveniently connected to Noi Bai International Airport, and has easy access to motorways towards provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, and Vinh Phuc.

"We hope that LOTTE MALL West Lake Hanoi will become an iconic landmark in Vietnam, promoting Korean shopping culture to the people of Vietnam and to visitors," said Kim Sang Hyun, vice chairman and CEO of LOTTE Shopping.

In addition to its mission of fulfilling shopping, entertainment, and relaxation needs, the West Lake mall also demonstrates the increasingly positive diplomatic relations between South Korea and Vietnam. The commercial complex is expected to contribute to the economy by supporting the development of domestic companies, stimulating consumer demand in Vietnam, and creating employment opportunities for over 3,000 people. The mall will also serve as a prime destination for first-time Korean brands debuting in Vietnam, as well as a hub for the dissemination of Korean culture.

The main shopping area covers seven floors, including five above ground and two basement levels, with a total area of 222,00sq.m, accounting for 60 per cent of the entire complex. Among the 233 brands present here, 25 are making their debut in Vietnam, 28 are new to Hanoi, and 32 are flagship stores.

LOTTE MALL West Lake promises to provide a holistic shopping, entertainment, and relaxation experience for families in a luxurious and modern space.
