Vietnam Expo 2023 welcomes over 20,000 visitors

More than 500 businesses from 16 countries and territories with 600 booths will attend the Vietnam Expo 2023, which will run from April 5 to 8 in Hanoi.

Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2023) introducing exports, high-quality goods and products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, is expected to welcome over 20,000 domestic and foreign visitors.

The 32nd Vietnam Expo 2023 will draw the participation of more than 500 Vietnamese and international businesses from 16 countries and territories. With a scale of 600 booths, the fair is divided into five key areas: the international pavilion, Vietnam value and export, machinery and supporting industries, digital technology and e-commerce, and the food industry.

The Hanoi pavilion with the theme “Invest in Hanoi”, held by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (HPA), will cover two exhibition spaces, “Export Promotion” and “Investment Promotion” displaying the city’s key commodity groups, including technology information, supporting industries, electrical equipment, and food.

To promote and introduce the city's potential, strengths, environment, and investment attraction policies, and connect directly with a number of typical enterprises in supporting industries, equipment, electricity, and food.

The exhibition area for Investment and Trade Promotion of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) is expected to enhance exchange and support for inter-regional trade promotion between businesses from Ho Chi Minh City and the northern region. Participating enterprises will display machinery equipment, supporting industries, and handicrafts for export.

Besides, visitors will experience the chefs’ performing dishes at the booth themed “Tasteful EUROPE – Europe is full of flavors”. At the booth, culinary experts, food&beverage export and import enterprises, and Horeca [Hotel, Restaurant and Catering] between Vietnamese and European sides will share on how to create agricultural products and food products that meet uniform European standards of safety and quality.

Last year, the 31st Vietnam Expo 2022, with the theme “Step together in the digitized world”, drew the participation of more than 400 Vietnamese and international businesses from 15 countries and territories.

Opened in Hanoi in 1991 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and Vinexad Company, the trade fair is held in Ho Chi Minh City every December and in the capital city every April.
