Volvo Car launches new car models at Vietnam market

Volvo Car Vietnam has launched a completely new line-up of cars at Vietnam Motorshow 2022. This includes seven exciting new hybrid & mild-hybrid models.

The new Recharge line-up of Hybrid and Mild-Hybrid models are equipped with Volvo's flagship Ultimate specifications. Within the line-up Volvo features two all new Plugin Hybrid SUVs with powertrains producing up to 462HP.

The space Volvo Car Vietnam has put together at Vietnam Motorshow 2022 is true to the Scandanavian heritage of that brand, boasting natural asymmetrical lines, whilst capturing the sophisticated minimalism synonamous with the Volvo Car brand. The immersive sensorial experience is further enhanced through integrated audio-visual experience capturing unique ambiance composed by Volvo Cars.

The space continues its call to sustainability through an intelligent integration of three-dimensional technology, complimented by performing arts. Volvo Cars elaborated that the space was designed to embody “Freedom to Move, in a sustainable, safe and personal way.”

The new cars have been launched for Vietnam market including XC90 Recharge (Plug-in Hybrid), XC60 Recharge (Plug-in Hybrid), XC90 (Mild-Hybrid), XC60 (Mild-Hybrid), XC40 (Mild-Hybrid), S90 (Mild-Hybrid), V60 Cross Country (Mild-Hybrid)

All Volvo models in Vietnam are equipped with the flagship expression of Scandinavian design, the Ultimate pack.

XC90 Recharge Ultimate - Volvo's "ace" in Vietnam market this year

The interiors gracefully fuse sophisticated minimalism with luxurious comfort, bringing together high-quality premium leathers with matte willow or mesh sculptured alloy accents and panels. Volvo has also curated some of the most timeless Scandavian colour pallets to match customers’ style.

The Dynamic Hybrid Plugin is the complete solution for the moment, allowing users to run entirely on electricity or in a hybrid manner using both, fuel engine and battery. The most modern version is equipped with an engine with a total capacity of 462 horsepower giving an independent electric range of up to 81km.

Mild Hybrid technology uses a 48 Volt battery pack in the rear trunk to supplement the turbocharged 2.0 engine, integrates supercharged technology for a capacity of 300 horsepower, saves fuel thanks to the system of regenerative energy from the brakes, and reduce emissions to the environment. Intelligent improvements from the engine provide optimal performance, the car can operate in a wide range while saving fuel and has the ability to accelerate as expected when the driver presses the gas. Mild Hybrid engine for smooth acceleration is designed with the most optimal method, suitable for all driving styles.

Volvo also developed the Volvo Car App as one of the new steps forward, providing users with the experience of driving a car from the car, making Volvo truly an effective assistant for drivers on every journey.

As part of Volvo global strategy, Volvo has made a series of strong footprints in the Vietnamese market in a short time, becoming Volvo’s fastest growing global market.
