PM Pham Minh Chinh to meet foreign investors on September 17
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will host a meeting with the community of foreign investors in Hanoi on September 17.
It will be the forum for foreign investors to share difficulties in implementing new laws and regulations as well as their obstacles during their operations in Vietnam.
Besides this, these representatives will discuss the opportunities for investment expansion.
According to VIR’s source, before the meeting is organised, foreign-invested enterprises sent their opinions about difficulties and their proposals to the prime minister. There are many opinions relating to the difficulties in implementing the extended producer responsibility – a policy approach under which producers are given a significant responsibility related to the circular economy, such as the treatment or disposal of waste.
Organising dialogue with the business community and foreign-invested enterprises is a regular activity of the prime minister. This aims to help the government to listen to voices from the business community about the investment environment and the effectiveness of regulations on time.
