The quality of rural industrial products made in the southeastern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has improved greatly as a result of the emphasis placed on honoring their excellence, carving out a growing market niche. The provincial department of industry and trade held five events over the past decade honoring outstanding rural industrial products, awarding district-level and provincial-level recognition to 306 and 140 products, respectively.
In the 2012-2021 period, 36 projects funded by industry promotion programs were implemented at a total cost of VND6.381 billion, while 25 manufacturers of outstanding rural industrial products received help in building e-commerce websites.
