The leading exhibition organizer in the ASEAN bloc, RX Tradex, collaborated with the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association on organizing the July 20 Vietnam Electronics Forum 2022 in Hanoi, in conjunction with the signing ceremony of the Business Innovation Zone 2022.

Phan Quang Vinh, head of Marketing for RX Tradex, said that in addition to annual activities, the Vietnam Electronics Forum 2022 is a focal event before Vietnam’s only SMT Exhibition on Testing Technologies, Equipment and Supporting Industries for Electronics Manufacturing (NEPCON Vietnam), which is scheduled to take place from September 14-16. It will feature electronic components, cell phone components, flat panel display modules, applications, automotive components, component manufacturing technology and more.
The forum is part of a series of events and practical activities to support electronics firms in production, market expansion, access to international business opportunities and participation in global supply chains.
As the COVID-19 pandemic is brought under control and trade and production activities are recovering, the exhibition will provide opportunities for Vietnamese electronics firms to meet potential partners from all over the world and learn new market trends.

The Business Innovation Zone project aims to help domestic and foreign-invested businesses, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises in support industries and electronics, to make the most of opportunities and adapt to changes in trade and production activities, Vinh said.
Pham Minh Thang, director of P&Q Solutions, said businesses are interested in digital transformation, especially Vietnamese companies in the process of automating production lines in their factories. The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed vulnerabilities in supply chains. Managers everywhere should use this crisis to take a fresh look at their supply networks, take steps to understand their vulnerabilities, and then take actions to improve robustness, Thang said. For electronics firms, transformation is not only an option but also a decisive issue for their survival, Thang added.
Do Thi Thuy Huong, executive board member of the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, said the Vietnamese electronics industry is changing rapidly in the post-pandemic period, with increasing demand for lean manufacturing and operations to reduce costs, save energy and optimize production. NEPCON Vietnam 2022 thus presents an opportunity for businesses to learn from each other and keep up-to-date with trends, advanced technologies and smart manufacturing solutions, Huong said.
With the participation of exhibitors from more than 10 countries and nearly 200 brands of famous technology and machinery firms in the manufacturing and electronics industries from Japan, the US, the Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Singapore, Thailand, Germany, India and other countries, NEPCON Vietnam 2022 will take place from September 14-16. |
