KOTRA Hanoi holds over 40 meetings between Vietnamese and RoK firms

On June 9, KOTRA Hanoi held over 40 meetings between Vietnamese companies and enterprises from the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The meetings connected eight manufacturers from Ulsan City of the RoK and almost 30 Vietnamese client companies. This was the very first in-person trading event after two-year interruption due to COVID-19.

According to KOTRA Hanoi (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), RoK enterprises brought to the event top quality products in the fields of cosmetics, food and drink, industrial machinery and material, etc. More than 40 continual trading firms focused on features such as detailed products introduction, quality control requirements following RoK/international standards, manufacturers’ conditions, etc.

“We believe trading contracts will be signed after these meetings. At the event, KOTRA Hanoi provided enterprises with consultancy on legal procedures relating to international trading activities,” said Tran Thi Hai Yen – KOTRA Hanoi’s head of office.

Yen said that 2022 marks an important event that celebrates 30 years of Vietnam-RoK relations. Therefore, KOTRA Hanoi will intensify trade promotion activities by organizing over 80 trading events, both online and offline, with the participation of more than 1,300 RoK enterprises and nearly 1,500 Vietnamese enterprises.

RoK products will be advertised among Vietnamese companies and consumers via KOTRA’s online platform.
