Vietnam sees Jan-Apr rice exports up 4.4% y/y at 2.05 mln tonnes

Vietnam's rice exports in the first four months of the year likely rose 4.4% to 2.05 million tonnes, government data released on Friday showed.

 

Revenue from rice exports in the period is expected to decrease 6% from a year earlier to $1.04 billion, the statistics office said in a statement.

April rice exports from Vietnam, likely totalled 550,000 tonnes, worth $273 million.
