Viet Nam’s largest dairy producer (VNM) eyes 5-per cent revenue growth in 2022

Vinamilk, the largest dairy producer in Viet Nam, has set a revenue growth target of at least 5 per cent in 2022, higher than the last year's target of 2.2 per cent and equivalent to more than VND64 trillion (US$2.8 billion) in revenue.

From 2023 onwards, the figure is expected to rise to 7.7 per cent per year, and the revenue expected to hit VND86.2 trillion in 2026.

Last year, Vinamilk made VND61 trillion, up 0.7 per cent year-on-year.

It was the first time the dairy producer exceeded the VND60 trillion mark, but fell short of their target by 2 per cent.

Meanwhile, its quarter growth rate reached nearly 10 per cent in Q4, the highest over the past five years.

Domestic market continued to be the driving force behind its growth, accounting for 84 per cent of its revenue and 83.8 per cent of its profits.

Foreign markets took up a smaller portion, at around 10.5 per cent.

Vinamilk products are now available in 57 countries and territories in the world.
