The city is finding locations for setting up OCOP retailing points, focusing on railway stations, airports, bus stations, and piers, stations on highways, commercial centers, supermarkets, markets, shops in tourist areas, restaurants, hotels, traditional craft villages, commercial service centers at district and commune levels and industrial spots.

This is a part of the Hanoi People's Committee’s Plan No. 92 on the development of OCOP showrooms associated with craft villages and rural tourism in Hanoi in 2022.

According to the plan, the city will also build at least one center for designing, creating, promoting, and selling OCOP products of craft villages associated with tourism development in districts and towns.

The city will also organize 3–5-week events to promote the manufacturing and sale of OCOP products, in combination with conferences to connect local manufacturers with distributors for the consumption of three-star and above OCOP products in Hanoi and other provinces and cities.

In addition, the city will work with other provinces and cities on introducing Hanoi's products, as well as send working groups to the localities to exchange OCOP showroom management and operational experience.

According to the Hanoi Office of New Rural Construction Program Coordination, the city will organize the International Forum on OCOP products, safe agricultural items, and handicrafts in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other relevant agencies.

In 2021, the city completed the evaluation and classification for595 OCOP-labeled products, exceeding the set target of over 400 ones. So far, the city has had a total of more than 1,500 OCOP products since the program was launched by the Prime Minister.
