Dh Foods, Heritage Beverage collaborate to export high quality Vietnamese condiments to US market

Dh Foods Joint Stock Company (‘Dh Foods’), a leading brand of Vietnamese food products, has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Heritage Beverage Company (‘HB’), a U.S. importer of Vietnamese premium products. Accordingly, HB will become the exclusive distributor of Dh Foods in the U.S. market.

Dh Foods will assign HB, a portfolio company of Saigon Asset Management (SAM), to import and distribute more than 150 SKUs of condiment products, consisting of many specialty spices, from Vietnam to the U.S. market.

“After nine years of continuous growth and development, Dh Foods is on target to realize the dream of becoming ‘the spice corner in the world's kitchen’,” said Nguyen Trung Dung, chairman and CEO of Dh Foods.

“Our key products, such as Tay Ninh gourmet seasoning, Nha Trang sweet and sour BBQ sauce, Phu Quoc spice fish sauce, and natural marinate for Pho, have been great contributors to our success.

“While our products have penetrated the European and Asian markets, our aspiration is for Dh Foods to be available in America.

“We are delighted to partner with Heritage Beverage, a strong importer and distributor of Vietnamese premium products for the U.S. market, and look forward to having our Vietnamese condiments available in America.”

Louis Nguyen, chairman of Heritage Beverage, said, “Over the past decade, Vietnamese food and culture have experienced a steady increase in influence in mainstream America, which you can see is reflected in media, Hollywood, and America’s knowledge of ‘pho’ and ‘banh mi.’

“However, many Vietnamese products arriving in the U.S. have seen their challenges in quality and competitiveness.

“Sustainable products from Dh Foods stand above the crowd and we recognize this is driven by commitments from the senior management team of the company.

“Heritage Beverage is delighted to be able to bring high quality and sustainable Vietnamese food to the American market.”

Dh Foods products are currently sold in all key supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide.

In addition, they have successfully entered competitive markets such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, and Australia.

Dh Foods has maintained an average growth rate of 50 percent per year throughout the last six years.

Despite the global pandemic in 2021, the company achieved a growth rate of 61 percent, while its exports were up 32 percent compared to 2020.

Dh Foods products are expected to be available in the U.S. market from the third quarter of 2022.

The firm will leverage HB's import and distribution systems to have its products sold at key Vietnamese restaurants and premises, casinos, and U.S. mainstream supermarkets.

Dh Foods was established in 2012 with the mission of bringing specialty condiments in Vietnam to the kitchens of every family at home and abroad.

Its products are available at all supermarkets and convenience stores nationwide and have been exported to many international markets including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia.
