Vietnam Airlines, Vinpearl to develop safe aviation-tourism services

Many activities will be held next year, marking the restart of the tourism-aviation industry after a long closure due to Covid-19.

Vietnam Airlines Corporation and Vingroup-owned Vinpearl have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop green-safe-closed aviation-tourism services.

This was the two sides’ effort to adapt flexibly to the pandemic and jointly develop the smokeless industry in the context of the new normal.

To realize this cooperation agreement, the opening ceremony of the golf tournament "Green Journey to Phu Quoc” was held on December 9 at Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc in the southern province of Kien Giang.

With 240 participants and attractive prizes, this is one of the large-scale events jointly held by the two Vietnamese companies, marking the resumption of the tourism - aviation industry after a long closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the 2021-2022 period, Vietnam Airlines and Vinpearl will organize 26 sales programs and launch tour package services and golf and marathon tournaments under their system as well as cultural-trade promotion events towards key international markets such as Japan, South Korea and Australia in order to develop a model of safe inbound tourism.

Vietnam Airlines and Vingroup signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2018 on the implementation of many air-travel activities since then.
