Danone selects TK Central for its head office in the Kingdom

TK Central, the award winning, mixed-use development located in the heart of Toul Kork district has officially welcomed their latest international tenant, Danone Specialized Nutrition (Cambodia) Co Ltd, a member of Danone Group, one of the most successful global food companies with products sold in more than 120 markets and with over 100,000 employees.

After much consideration, Danone Cambodia has chosen TK Central for the head office, with the move planned in mid-December 2021.

The global food and beverage giant concentrates on high-growth and health-focused categories, and is committed to operating in an efficient, sustainable and responsible manner.

The company aims to inspire healthier and more sustainable eating and drinking practices, in line with its vision – “Danone, One Planet. One Health” – reflecting a strong belief that the health of people and the planet are interconnected.

“We are very happy with our decision to move forward with TK Central. The building meets all of Danone’s safety requirements, including having an optimal fire safety system.

“Additionally, TK Central is managed by CBRE, a reputable global brand known for their ability to provide excellent customer service to their tenants. The dynamic and varied developments in Toul Kork area were another key factor in our decision-making process,” said Danone’s head of human resources Yin Phallyn.

With a commitment to adhere to international standards for construction quality, customer service and attention to detail, TK Central is mixed-use building developed by Parbury Investments, offering commercial office, retail space and serviced apartments.

The building has managed to attract a variety of local and international corporations in Cambodia since its opening. It has gone on to win the Best Mixed Use Development Award of the Year 2020 at the 5th annual PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards.

“TK Central is extremely delighted to welcome Danone to be part of our growing community, where both local and multinational companies are seeking to expand their footprint in Cambodia’s fast-moving economy.

“We hold principles of community building at our core, so we are delighted to have a company that is focused on improving health in the Cambodian community,” said Parbury Investments’ managing director Te Vong Chhay.

Danone Cambodia presents a portfolio of science-based nutritional solutions designed to positively impact health through food for people who need it most, from motherhood until children reach two years or beyond. The health-focused corporation is built on three businesses – Essential Dairy and Plant-Based products, Waters and Specialized Nutrition.

Parbury Investments is a fully Cambodian-owned company founded in 2017 with a vision of creating a better built environment to enhance the standard of Cambodian construction industry, centred on the principles of community building and solution-based design thinking.
