Bosch voted Top 1 best workplace across hi-tech industries
Bosch Vietnam was ranked among the best companies to work for in the country, making it the seventh year listed as one of Vietnam’s top 100 employers, according to Anphabe’s Vietnam Best Places to Work 2021.
For all the seven listed years, external professionals have recognized the company as one of the industry leaders in all three operating areas: engineering, hi-tech, and IT. For 2021, Bosch Vietnam ranked 22nd overall and maintained on the podium of each respective industry: No.1 in the Electronics/Hi-tech/ Utilities Industry; No.2 in the Engineering/ Machinery/ Mechanicals Industry; No.3 in the IT/Software & Application/ E-commerce Industry.
‘Vietnam Best Places to Work’ survey was based on diverse criteria, a restricted process including in-depth qualitative and quantitative interviews. From May to August, over 65,000 professionals participated in this year’s surveys, evaluating more than 595 Employer Brands across 20 industries.

“2021 was a challenging year with the fourth wave of COVID-19, yet we managed to pull through by adopting a people-centric approach to key components of the company and support our people as much as we can”, said Guru Mallikarjuna, Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam. “The award was a concrete proof of commitment for the communicated strategy, and a constant reminder to excel even further in the following years.”
Since its establishment in Vietnam in 2007, Bosch started its journey in Vietnam more than a decade ago and has become the largest German investor in the country, with operations encompassing Manufacturing, Research & Development (R&D), Sales, and Services.
Bosch now employs approximately 5,000 employees and is increasingly active in diversified businesses. Bosch Vietnam has offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Dong Nai. The company is operating two R&D Centers and a Powertrain Solutions Plant in Dong Nai (HCP), one of the biggest Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) pushbelt production plants globally, that was honored with a High-tech certification from the Government in 2014.
“We look for moments that matter regarding employee experience and get their feedback to gauge our performance as an employer, then apply necessary solutions immediately to address and adapt to different employee needs,” said Tran Thi Thu Tham, Head of Human Resources of Bosch Vietnam.
