The Marq ready for hand over despite pandemic impacts

Despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Marq is quickly approaching completion for a handover to future residents.

Following Hongkong Land’s commitment, The Marq is in the final stages for the official handover of apartments by the end of 2021. This is good news for future residents as countless projects that are being implemented in the segment in the city centre are being delayed.

Once completed, the project is expected to become a new architectural highlight of the city with two 26-storey towers and 515 luxury condominiums.

The Marq owns a prime location that is full of potential forinvestors

Three years ago, the journey of The Marq started with the ground-breaking ceremony in July 2018 on an area of 5,146 square metres on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, one of the most beautiful streets in the city, where ancient French villas with brown-tiled roofs are nestled under a canopy of lush green trees.

That memorable event marked an important milestone in the development journey of Hongkong Land in Vietnam. The company is famous for its reputable history of more than 130 years of construction experience in Hong Kong (China), Singapore, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Since then, the community of successful, yet sophisticated homebuyers began to dream of luxurious living spaces with classy amenities right in the heart of the city, full of heritage values.

On May 22, 2020, the topping-out ceremony of The Marq was successfully held on the occasion of contractor Coteccons' completion of the building shell. This event has marked a significant milestone in the construction process. Thus, only a year after completing the foundation, the project has quickly completed the rough part, preparing to enter the finishing stage.

Nearly one year later, on April 22, 2021, Hongkong Land officially unveiled The Marq’s new model units right at the project site. The green haven has begun to take shape in District 1, the most vibrant commercial centre of the country with timeless cultural and architectural heritage values.

The period between the launch of the project’s model units and the present was hard for all businesses and individuals due to strict social distancing and lockdown policies. It is hard to imagine the challenges Hongkong Land and its partners had to cope with to complete the project on time.

For esteemed residents, The Marq is an asset with both physical and emotional value.

The consensus excellence of Hongkong Land and Coteccons, sub-contractors and other consultants and partners in applying innovations such as large-block foundation technique, top-down construction method, assembly of modules for equipment and interior finishing components in addition to professional project management experience, have helped speed up construction progress while still ensuring the perfect quality for the project.

To create an elite community at The Marq, Hongkong Land has prepared a detailed handover programme with full legal documents. They include the Approval of the master plan of 1/500 scale, certificate of land use rights, approval of investment incentives, project construction permit, fire protection license, environmental permit, and acceptance of the completed project deliverables. It is an essential factor, helping to create confidence in the property legality. For esteemed residents, The Marq is an asset with both physical and emotional value.

World-class facilities and international quality contribute to modern and upmarket living for The Marq’sresidents

In the context of the economic downturn affecting the real estate market due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the timely handover of The Marq is testament to the capabilities of Hongkong Land.

During the pre-handover, The Marq unveils an incentive programme with a special discount of up to 5.5 per cent besides free management for up to eight years.
