Buy2sell offers price support for customers amid Covid-19

Buy2sell has announced its consumer price support program across Vietnam's 63 cities and provinces, conducting non-profit sales of essential food products from Sept. 2021 to Feb. 28, 2022.

"The support program is worth 30 percent of Buy2sell's total revenue in the fourth quarter of 2021," a representative of B2B e-commerce platform Buy2sell said.

The program will run until the end of the Lunar New Year 2022.

Retail prices will be adjusted from 25 percent to 35 percent down on items like food, beverages, and health care products, etc.

Buy2sell has also worked with foreign suppliers on new promotions to serve Vietnamese consumers. To enhance delivery services during high season, Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022, Buy2sell has set up its own dedicated delivery team to timely supply to consumers and the B2B network.

"Through this program, Buy2sell hopes to help the community save more money and take better care of their families to enhance their health with good products at affordable prices," Nguyen Huu Y Binh, sales director of Buy2sell, said.

Despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the second quarter of 2021, Buy2sell experienced a positive sales boost while mitigating market shortages.

Buy2sell is complying with the safety directive for Covid 19 prevention under government instruction. Accordingly, all Buy2sell employees have switched to online working since June 2021. Only warehouse and delivery staff operate on-site and are fully vaccinated. In addition, Buy2sell is dedicated to taking care of its employees when it comes to job security and salaries.
