Hoa Phat’s PC Strand is made from a technology line imported entirely from Italy, meeting the US standards of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) A416/A416M-17 [Standard Specification for Low-Relaxation, Seven-Wire Steel Strand for Prestressed Concrete].

The prestressed steel factory is located at Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Integrated Complex in the central province of Quang Ngai’s Dung Quat Economic Zone with a production capacity of nearly 300,000 tons per year, including more than 200,000 tons of prestressed steel bar (PC Bar) and over 80,000 tons of prestressed steel cable (PC Strand).

PC Strand has outstanding features such as good corrosion resistance, low friction and easy bending, able to be used in in-place cast concrete, materials and construction time saving.

It is commonly used in large-scale projects such as bridges, railways, highways, multi-storey industrial buildings and stadiums.
