DigiWorld (DGW) reports record-high revenue
Digiworld Coporation reported record quarterly profits of over VND4 trillion (US$174 million), a 61 per cent year-on-year jump, in the last quarter of 2020.
After-tax profit was VND85 billion ($3.7 million), an increase of 70 per cent.
For the full year the company achieved revenues of VND12.5 trillion ($544 million) and after-tax profits of VND253 billion ($11 million), 48 per cent and 56 per cent up from the previous year.
Digiworld said it has made efforts to grow steadily in all segments.
In the fourth quarter mobile phone sales rose by 68 per cent to VND2.2 trillion ($95.7 million) and laptop and tablet sales by 66 per cent to VND1.2 trillion ($52.2 million).
Sales of consumer goods rose by 11 per cent to VND81 billion ($3.5 million) and office equipment by 36 per cent to VND509 billion ($22.1 million).
