Two more Vietnamese dairy producers licensed to export to China

The Asia-Africa Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that the General Administration of Customs of China would continue issuing transaction codes allowing one Vietnamese company and one factory to export dairy products to the Chinese market.

Binh Duong Nutifood Nutrition Food Joint Stock Company is allowed to export sterilised milk, modified milk and flavoured fermented milk to the Chinese market.

Truong Tho Dairy Factory, under the Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), is allowed to export sterilised milk, modified milk, sweetened condensed milk and other condensed milk products to the market.

Chinese authorities have issued transaction codes allowing seven Vietnamese companies and factories to export dairy products to its market.

These include products of TH True Milk, Hanoimilk, Bel Vietnam Co Ltd, Nutifood and three Vinamilk factories.

China is the biggest milk importer in the world. The country imported 39.43 million tonnes of milk and milk products in 2019. Of which, imported fresh milk was about 750,000 tonnes and milk powder was 650,000 tonnes.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation predicted that the demand for milk and milk products of this market would increase around 45 per cent by 2025.
