Trade fair promotes southern region’s OCOP products

A fair featuring products meeting criteria of the One Commune, One Product (OCOP) programme in Viet Nam’s southern region is being held in Vi Thanh City of the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang.

With 250 pavilions, it is a trade promotion activity held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Hau Giang People’s Committee, aiming to promote high-quality Vietnamese goods, OCOP products, agro-forestry-fishery and craft products and specialities of southern provinces and cities and across the country.

The event offers a chance for localities, firms and co-operatives to popularise achievements in the application of science and technology in processing and manufacturing, preservation, packaging and origin tracing.

The fair will run until December 21.
