Addressing the fair’s opening ceremony, vice chairman of Quang Ninh Province People's Committee Bui Van Khang said local authorities had paid attention to investment in green agriculture over the past years. "The province has taken advantage of nature and introduced quality products to the markets, especially fishery and OCOP products."

The Quang Ninh Province’s fishery, OCOP product and tourism promotion week looks to open up trading and tourism co-operation opportunities, and promote goods consumption and tourism at the end of the year, he said.

Also at the fair’s opening ceremony, Quang Ninh Province’s businesses, manufacturers and service providers signed memorandums of understanding on trade promotion with their partners in Hanoi.

The Quang Ninh Department of Tourism signed agreements to strengthen co-operation with a number of tourism agencies and businesses in the capital city.
