AEON Vietnam officially opens its first supermarket in Haiphong

People in Haiphong are also the first customers in Southeast Asia to experience innerCasual (iC) products – AEON's private brand providing inner products with Japanese quality at AEON-Haiphong Le Chan General Merchandise Store and Supermarket.

It is one of the highlights at AEON-Haiphong Le Chan General Merchandise Store and Supermarket, one more unit of AEON in Vietnam and was officially launched in Haiphong on December 14.

With a total area of ​​more than 18,800 square metres, this is AEON Vietnam's first General Merchandise Store and Supermarket in Haiphong city and the sixth nationwide, aiming to bring "AEON-standard" products, services, and shopping experience to more customers across the country.

On the first day of opening, AEON-Haiphong attracted thousands of customers to the largest supermarket in the port city. AEON Vietnam implements various COVID-19 prevention measures to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for all customers.

It is the largest-scale supermarket in the port city with 1,400sq.m delica area and 800sq.m perishable area, providing all 40,000 products from 2,000 local suppliers to meet all the essential needs of customers in everyday life.

The perishable area in the supermarket attracts many housewives and families. In particular, the seafood counter sells a variety of fresh seafood products purchased directly from the port such as organic salmon, shrimp and basa fish, high-quality fresh seafood, sushi products, sashimi, as well as the famous specialities of Haiphong and Halong Bay such as cha muc. Besides, there are many organic vegetables and fruits, products certified by GLOBAL GAP, VIETGAP, and variety of imported products.

In addition, customers can find home fashion and household products on the second floor, at HÓME CÓORDY at its largest scale store in Southeast Asia. AEON Vietnam also put into operation two more speciality stores, including the Glam Beautique which provides customers with a variety of beauty and health store and AEON Bicycle.

“We will bring customers with quality products and diversified services, especially products imported directly from Japan such as fruits and products from two AEON's private brands including HÓME COORDY and innerCasual,” said Sakagami Masaomi, director of AEON-Haiphong Le Chan General Merchandise Store and Supermarket.

For families to AEON-Haiphong Le Chan, Kids Republic area on the second floor will not only offer them products for all development stages of a child but also assorted products to take care of pregnant and postpartum women.

He said, “By providing products, services, and facilities to meet the needs of customers in daily life, AEON Vietnam strives to carry out our mission of enriching customers’ daily lifestyles and bringing new values ​​to local customers.”
