The economic development in Vietnam in the past few years has resulted in an increasing demand for safe, high-quality, and eco-friendly products. According to the latest research, 80 per cent of Vietnamese consumers are willing to pay more for products with “green” and “clean” commitment and made from environmentally friendly materials.

“Being the sustainable business leader, SCG takes pride in pioneering the circular economy to produce innovative products that are not only environmentally friendly but also better serve the increasing needs of our customers. During the past decade, SCG Packaging has offered a wide variety of paper packaging, ranging from materials to finished products but mostly for the B2B segment. This is the first time we launched a B2C innovation, using recycled paper as input materials, which allows our consumers to lead a sustainable lifestyle,” said Ekarach Sinnarong, general director of New Asia Industries Co., Ltd.

The Doozypack Paper Playhouse is created by SCG to provide a safe and exciting indoor playground for preschool children up to eight years old. It is designed to unleash the children’s creativity with pre-printed cartoon visuals for coloring and a close-to-reality size that intrigues the curiosity of little kids. Especially, during COVID-19, this playhouse will ease the worry of parents over their kids using too much digital devices or not being able to play outside.

“The Doozypack Paper Playhouse is suitable for the little ones as it is made from safe materials and with interesting design. Parents can also participate in the game, which strengthens family bonding and makes time at home more meaningful during the social distancing,” add Ekarach Sinnarong.

This innovative design is one of the many paper products SCG created using the circular economy concept. After use, the products can be collected and recycled at Vina Kraft Paper – a factory of SCG in Binh Duong province – into paper materials that can be used to produce new products in the next circle.
