Receiving the ASEAN Outstanding Enterprises 2020 Vietnam Award this year shows the relentless commitment of Prime Group to enhance the lives of its consumers and the whole society alike.

At the ASEAN Business Forum +3 (Japan, Korea, India) organised in early October 2020 by the Vietnam-ASEAN Association for Economic Cooperation Development, Prime Group – a subsidiary of SCG in Vietnam – was presented with the ASEAN Outstanding Enterprises 2020 Award, for its positive contribution to national and regional development.

The ASEAN Business Forum +3 this year discussed the topic of adapting Industry 4.0 in creative competition for sustainable development and prosperity. Honoured by the prime minister of Vietnam and attended by 85 enterprises from ASEAN countries and Japan, Korea, and India, the forum also lauded Outstanding Enterprises in ASEAN +3 Bloc who have made many contributions to the adoption of Industry 4.0 for sustainable and prosperous development.

A series of reputable enterprises with competitive capacity for contribution to the economic development of the country, and promoting international contact were nominated for the awards, to be evaluated by their policies on sustainability, social security, technological development, and environmental protection by the organising committee.

Established in Vietnam since 1999, nowadays, Prime Group is a leading building materials manufacturer with more than 4,400 employees and 16 subsidiaries. The group’s portfolio includes a wide array of products, including ceramic tiles, roof tiles, and water heaters.

In 2013, Prime Group joined SCG to enhance its product development, human resources, and production capabilities for better habitat solutions.

Besides maintaining a series of international quality standards such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001, Prime Group keeps pursuing sustainable development while improving its products and services, not just by its leading brands with trendy designs but also with production plants that meet world-class quality standards.

SCG, one of the leading conglomerates in the ASEAN, comprises of three core businesses: SCG Cement-Building Materials, SCG Chemicals, and SCG Packaging.
