The ground-breaking ceremony of Furukawa’s automotive parts factory took place on October 12

The ground-breaking ceremony of the factory was conducted in the presence of the management authority of the industrial park, and leaders and representatives of departments and agencies in the province. Furukawa’s project aims to produce detailed components for the automotive industry which are used in almost all automobile products worldwide.

The project, which has received a great deal of attention from Japanese investors and government agencies, could signal a high-tech investment wave into the Mekong River Delta, helping to connect the region to the global supply chain.

The factory is expected to create up to 6,000 jobs, contributing to the government budget as well as the stable development of Vinh Long. It was designed and built by Thien An Design-Construction-Trading Co., Ltd., which has carried out a range of high-quality projects such as facilities for NEC/TOKIN, Ajinomoto, Muto, Wacoal, Acecook, YKK, GPP Ca Mau, Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh, Towa Southern Star Vinh Long, and VGCP Ha Nam.

With more than 20 years of experience in running foreign investment projects from Japan, the United States, the European Union, and Taiwan, Thien An aims to constantly broaden its experience, improve technology and design, and expand its partner network to other countries with experience in management, design, and technology to apply them in Vietnam.

Thien An is following a 5S criteria system – safety, standards, solutions, schedule, and services – in the design and building of projects in Vietnam, hoping to bring customers immense satisfaction.
