Saigon Dairy Factory to export to China

Saigon Dairy Factory, an affiliate of Viet Nam's leading dairy producer Vinamilk, has been granted permission to export dairy products to China, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Asia – Africa Market Department.

The factory was permitted to export flavoured fermented milk to China on Monday.

Saigon Dairy Factory is one of the five companies and factories that have received transaction codes to export milk products to China, together with TH True Milk, Hanoimilk, Bel Viet Nam and Thong Nhat Dairy Factory.

The move helps pave the way for other Vietnamese dairy firms to penetrate into this major market. The domestic dairy production and processing industry is also expected to reap benefits from this.
