Local fuel prices drop sharply

The ministries of Finance and of Industry and Trade today, February 14, lowered fuel retail prices, the local media reported.

 

Local fuel traders can extract VND100 for each liter of bio-fuel E5 RON92 sold to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund. The respective extraction rate for each liter or kilogram of RON95 petrol, kerosene, diesel oil and heavy fuel oil sold is VND600, VND700, VND700 and VND200.

The retail prices of E5 bio-fuel, RON95-III gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and heavy fuel oil slid by VND765, VND742, VND960 and VND1,108 per liter and VND792 per kilogram, respectively.

Therefore, E5 bio-fuel, RON95-III gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and heavy fuel oil now sell for less than VND18,503, VND19,380, VND15,175, VND13,954 and VND11,650 per liter or kilogram, respectively.

The global prices of RON92, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and heavy fuel oil fell to some US$63.130, US$64.950, US$66.210 and US$64.255 per barrel and US$290.528 per ton, respectively.
