Fair offers specialties for Tet holiday

A variety of food and fruit from across the country are on display at the Spring Fair 2020 which kicked off on Tuesday at the Ha Noi International Exhibition Centre.

 

More than 300 businesses are showcasing their products at the event, ranging from Ly Son garlic and onions, Tan Cuong tea, Cao Phong and Ham Yen oranges, and Tuyen Quang hill rice, to Cao Bang rice noodle as well as beverages, confectionery, garments, handicrafts and footwear.

Other fruit, confectionery and healthcare goods imported from Russia, South Korea, the UK, France and Poland besides supplements and home appliances are also on display.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry vice chairman, Hoang Quang Phong, said the annual event with thousands of products aimed to meet rising demand of customers for the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

Co-organised by the Viet Nam Exhibition Fair Centre (VEFEC) and the Viet Nam Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Association, the fair will run until next Tuesday.
