Hundreds of exhibitors attracted to VTG 2019, VinaTex

A wide selection of innovative products for the textile and garment industry, including dyes and specialty chemicals, will be displayed at 800 booths run by 530 local and foreign exhibitors at expos taking place next week in HCMC, allowing the country’s industry professionals to update their knowledge and technology and connect with experts and potential partners.

The Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition (VinaTex), the 19th Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG) and the Vietnam International Dyeing and Chemical Industry Exhibition (Dyechem) will be held in tandem under one roof at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, from November 20 to 23.

The exhibitors, coming from 14 countries and territories including mainland China, France, Hong Kong and Japan, will showcase a host of comprehensive solutions and technology at the shows.

Visitors to the shows will view a series of high-capacity machines for the textile and garment industry, alongside high-quality fibers, filaments, yarns and fabrics. They will also see the world’s latest innovations in the industry, be briefed on new market information and meet with experienced and well-known exhibitors from around the world.

Apart from the standard exhibition activities, there will be knowledge-sharing seminars at the expos, delivered by top-notch experts and authoritative speakers, on topics such as “Deep analysis of the impact of U.S.-China trade tensions on Vietnam,” “Attracting and optimizing Vietnamese talent in the digital era” and “The U.S.-China trade war and its massive impact on the textile and leather industries.”

The events are jointly organized by Vinexad National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd, along with other co-organizers such as Hong Kong Apparel Machinery Association, Guangdong Sewing Equipment Chamber of Commerce and Paper Communication Exhibition Services.

Regarding Vietnam’s textile and garment export activities, the export revenue of this product group totaled US$24.61 billion during the first nine months of the year, rising 9.7% against the year-ago figure, according to data from the General Statistics Office.
